PHXCC is only 8 days away at the time of this post, so I thought I’d update you on my involvement. I’ll be at table #338. I’ll have several copies of my new book ‘StaleBacon: Stomach Caterpillars’, a bowl of mustaches, bacon scented air freshener’s AND I’ll be doing Ugly Sketch Cards – Ugly versions of your favorite characters as well as general commission requests.
I’ll also be on two panels this year:
Web Comics 101: Friday May 25th, 6:00pm – 7:00pm
In Webcomics 101, we’ll go over what it takes to get started with your own new webcomic. I’ll be on this panel with talented Webcomic artists Frank Jordan of Company Man Comic and Patrick Scullin of Super Siblings.
Web Comics: Saturday May 26th, 10:30am – 11:30am
I’ll be joining other notable webcomic creators in a general discussion on webcomics. Other guests include Val Hochberg of Mystery Babylon, Jeff Pina of Dr. Oblivion’s Guide to Teenage Dating AND Morgan Gendel – Award Winning TV writer famous for his ST: TNG episode ‘The Inner Light’ who will be there to discuss his Web Comic sequel.
If you’d like to request your sketch card in advance, email me at kevincoulston(at)gmail.com

My take on Mark Stokes Zombie Boy. Make sure you check out his stuff, it’s great.
Today’s Fan Art come from the new comic ‘Reptilis Rex‘ It’s about Reptoids that are forced from their underground dwellings to go above ground. They are striped of the power they once had and are forced to work at fast food places.
This comic is fairly new, but the artist has been around awhile. I’m really enjoying it. It feels like Mr. William Tailman is trying to do something a little different. It also caters to my conspiracies that I like to entertain myself with.
I don’t do a lot of blog posts on here, and I’m trying to get better at that. This is sort of an update on what’s going on around here.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed but I put up a donation button on the website, it’s been there a while. It’s over on the right sidebar right below the comic. Well I could really use your help in keeping Underwhelmed up. If you read the comic every update and enjoy what I do here, would you think about donating? The money would go to keeping the server up and you can decide what you want to donate. And as an isentive I drew up some wallpapers with different characters from the strip. Here’s the one for Doyle. I have them in all different sizes for your PC/Mac and some for iPad/iPhone. And if you don’t see the size you want let me know, and I’ll whip one up for you.

I also have started doing live streams, you can get to the page here. I’ve been wanted to do this, but I could never get a set up that I was happy with. I’m going to do this as often as I can, possibly for every comic. I’ll put a post up when I start one over on my Twitter and Facebook pages. I’ve set a cool IRC chat room so you can ask me questions or talk to others that have showed up for the stream. It’s very easy to chat, just enter your name and hit connect and you’re all set. No log in or set up required.
I’ve also trying to develop another comic strip idea, I showed a preview of it over on my Tumblr. I’m still working out the details, but I’m more excited about this idea then I the other one I had. I’ll let you know more about it when it’s ready.
So there’s a little bit about what’s going on with the strip. And please if you can, think about donating. I also have some books for sale in print and digital formats. So thanks for reading, and I’ll see you around the internet.
I’m going to be exhibiting at the Kazoo! Zine and Comic Expo which will take place this Saturday, the 14th, from 11am – 4pm at the Norfolk Street United Church (75 Norfolk Street) in sunny downtown Guelph, Ontario. Come by and pick up a copy of Lemon Inc. Volume 1: Freshly Squeezed! This will be my first ever show as well as the first, and currently the only, place where you can buy the book. You can RSVP on Facebook here.
I will have three different book bundles available at the show. The first one is just a regular signed copy of the book which will cost $25. The second is an Artist’s Edition of the book which includes an inked sketch and/or a personalized message on the inside for only $5 more. The third is a show exclusive bundle where you save two dollars if you buy an extra copy of the book for a friend or family member.
I will also be giving out FREE LEMONADE and GERALD BOOKMARKS! No purchase necessary!
While the expo only takes place on Saturday, it’s part of Kazoo Fest 2012, which is a five day music and art festival that takes place from April 11th – 15th all over downtown Guelph, so check out the other events this week too.
See you there!
Tim
Hey guys! I know it’s been a while since I’ve updated the site. Sorry about that. The good news is that the book is finished and has been printed. I’m sorry it took so long. Putting together a book took a lot more time and work than I had anticipated and I really wanted to make sure that it turned out perfect. I can say that it did. The books look beautiful. Look how pretty they are!
The bad news is that you can’t actually buy the books from the website yet because I need to set up a Paypal account, which would require me to have a bank account which is something that I don’t actually have at the moment. But I’ll set something up soon! However, you can buy the book from me at the Kazoo! Zine and Comic Expo this weekend. I will provide the details on that in another blog post.
